Benefits of a Medical Alert System

Medical alert systems are essential life-saving tools for aging individuals and those with medical conditions. Studies show that if you receive medical assistance within one hour of an emergency, there’s a 90% chance that you will maintain your independence – known as the “Golden Hour.” A medical alert system can ensure help arrives when it is needed most.

Affordability & Privacy

With the costs of long-term care homes and private in-home health care services increasing each year, medical alert systems are an affordable alternative care option for at risk individuals. A medical alert system allows for a more private lifestyle through living independently.

Independence & Comfort

Medical alert systems enable independent living and staying in the comfort of your own home longer without needing regular support.

Availability & Responsiveness

Medical monitoring is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. During an emergency, with a push of a button, you can speak to trained and certified emergency medical professionals from the Galaxy Medical Alert Response Center within seconds and get the help you need.

Safety & Peace-of-Mind

With one of our medical alert systems, you will have peace-of-mind knowing that it is safe for you to be alone because you have access to emergency medical help, should you need it, through the Galaxy Medical Alert Response Center, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Functional & Expansive

Our medical alert systems cater to individual needs and activity levels. We have systems that monitor around the home and on the go. Our systems use landline, Cable, VoIP, and cellular technology. Our systems also offer automatic fall detection and GPS location services.

Easy Setup & Easy to Use

Our medical alert systems are easy to set up and easy to use. During an emergency, simply push the personal help button to alert the Galaxy Medical Alert Response Center and a certified emergency medical technician will be ready to help.

How a Medical Alert System Works

With a medical alert system, help is only a push-of-a-button away. A medical alert system connects you via two-way voice communication with a trained and certified emergency medical technician (EMTs) at our Galaxy Medical Alert Response Center.

In the event of a non-life threatening situation, a pre-designated contact can be notified of your emergency and, if necessary, come to assist you.

Press the Personal Help Button

If there is an emergency and you require help, press the button on the pendant or base unit and an alert will be immediately sent to trained and certified emergency medical technicians (EMT) at our Galaxy Medical Alert Response Center.

Talk to a Certified EMT

EMTs at the Galaxy Medical Alert Response Center will respond to your alert and will assess the emergency and send help. If you are unable to communicate with the EMT, emergency services will be automatically sent to your location.

Help is on the Way

Emergency services will be sent to your location. First responders will have your vital medical information. Your personal contacts will be notified and an EMT will continue to talk to you until help has arrived.
